Biography

Select Scotland’s Birth+Baptismal Records indicate Cathrine was baptized April 20, 1820 in Killin, Perthshire, Scotland. NOTE—spelling is Cathrine..

Cathrine at 20, lived in Kincardine, Perthshire, at time of 1841 census—lived/worked at home Wm Carrick.

She married June 1, 1844 in Killin, Scotland —Peter Anderson (born Weem, Scotland March 25, 1807+ died in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada May 1, 1887.)

Ontario Immigration records show they emigrated there 1845. They then had 7 daughters, no sons. Margaret 1846, Catherine/?Cathrine ? 1848, Jane 1849-50, Jesse M. 1852, Elizabeth born 1854/died July 1854: Isabella 1858, and Peterina 1862.

Peter Anderson the father died May 1, 1887 and Cathrine Anderson the mother died May 11, 1899 both in Port Perry, Ontario.

Cathrine died of pneumonia+heart failure, and is buried at Breadalbane Cemetery, Utica, Durham Municipality, Ontario, Canada.
