I have be rechecking the Slaymaker genealogy because they seem to have hijacked my Ferree genealogy in order to get from Europe to PA. I was looking for the marriage of Mathias' daughter Margaret Slaymaker who was born in Europe and came to PA with her parents in 1710 to Chester Co. PA according to one tree. However, for some odd reason on the internet she is said to have married Michael Fickel in 1734 and lived in Frederick Co. MD . The marriage I found was to a Michael Fickel and they were said to have married on 23 Sep 1734 in Frederick Co. MD. Instead of marrying Margaret Slaymaker in Frederick Co. MD 23 Sept 1734 I found where he was getting off a ship named the HOPE from Europe on the very SAME day.

My question is--Where and When was Margaret really born and married? Who is the real Michael that she married?

I suggest there is a mistake which needs to be researched further.

Fickle-36 and Fickel-13 appear to represent the same person because: duplicate
