Private Nathaniel Field served with 4th Connecticut Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Nathaniel Field is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A039215.

Nathaniel Field was born in 1727. He was the son of Joshua Field and Elizabeth Cooley. When Nathaniel Field was born on April 12, 1727, in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, his father, Joshua, was 32 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 30.

He married Mary Goodrich, daughter of Moses Goodrich on 23 February 1748/49 in Bolton, Connecticut.

In 1765, Nathaniel Field petitioned the Hartford Court for a divorce from Mary Goodrich on the grounds of adultery. it seems that the petition was not granted.[1]

He died on July 12, 1803, in Phelps, New York, USA, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried there. Obit clipping on Find A Grave lists wife Experience who died 18 Nov 1834 aged 95.

Nathaniel served for Connecticut in the American Revolution. The DAR lists two wives; Mary Goodrich and Experience _______. [2]
