Pierce Field was born on 22 May 1882 near Forbes, New South Wales. He was the son of Josiah Field and Sarah Morris.^[1][2]

On 26 Jun 1918, Pierce married Ruby May Bradford nee Curry at St Andrew's Church, Parkes, New South Wales.^[3][4]

Pierce passed away at the age of 38 at Forbes District Hospital, Forbes, New South Wales on 19 Jun 1920. He is buried in the Forbes Cemetery, Forbes, New South Wales.^[5][6]
