John Fisher, deceased, father of James Fisher, owned a plantation or tract situated in Broadkiln Hundred, John’s will dated 8 February 1780 bequeathed to Thomas the portion that ran northerly but if Thomas died without heirs the property to go to son James Fisher. Thomas Fisher & Alice, his wife, mortgaged the property on 24 September 1774 to Parker Robinson and James Fisher – 150 acres. Parker Robinson by quit claim released it to James Fisher, who is now selling a portion to John Rowland.
