Biography

Doris Catherine Fisher was born in Rolette County, North Dakota on August 27, 1910 to Walker Fisher and Bertha (Hupp) Fisher. She was the middle of three known children born to the couple.

Doris was raised in rural Rolette County and Thorne, North Dakota. Her father moved the family to Rolette City, North Dakota in 1920. Some time between 1930 and 1935 (like some time in 1932), she married Sam Kuball. They settled in Wales, Dresden Township, North Dakota where Sam was the proprietor of the grocery store and beer parlour. The couple had two known children.

Doris and Sam moved to Alameda County, California some time between 1940 and 1958. Her mother moved to California to be near her. Sam passed away in 1974.

Doris passed away on January 1, 1983 in Union City, California. She was 72 years old.
