I think we try to hard to make up birth years for people like this. If we have no evidence, should we make stuff up? (And they have the same problem on Wikipedia, but there the policy is clearly saying not to do it.)
I think the date of birth here is incorrect. According to this date he was born two years after his son was. Wikipedia lists his birth as being c. 1060/65. Maybe it should be updated to this? Wikipedia Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_fitzBaderon
