Biography
Eliza Jane Flippin, daughter of John C. Flippin and Louisa W. (Sanders) Flippin, was born on 19 March 1854 in Kentucky.[1] She appeared on the census of 12 July 1860 in the home of her parents at Grayson, Texas.[2]
She married Matthew Jackson Davis, son of William Thomas Davis and Annie (Cheek) Davis, on 21 Jan. 1872 in Grayson, Texas.[3][1]
She appeared on the census of 13 Jan. 1920 in the home of her son at King, Stephens, Oklahoma.[4]
Eliza died on 28 Aug. 1936 probably in Oklahoma and was buried at Duncan Municipal Cemetery, Duncan, Stephens County, Oklahoma. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
