Biography

SOURCE: Family history notes of Prof. CA Bonine compiled 1947-67, including a notation that Rebekah Foard's father was William (de) Foard of Maryland. Apparently he lost his parents as a child as there was a record of this in the Cecil County, MD, orphans court.

Subsequent to this, he settled in New Castle Co., Delaware, near the place known as "Cooches Bridge" as that is where family sources say Enos Howell Jr. met Rebekah/Rebecca after his first wife died.
