Biography

Richard Fowler was born on 28 Oct 1853 in Tarawata, South Australia, Australia, son of James Fowler (~1816 - 1897) [1]and Maria Ann (Garrett) Fowler (1830 - 1908).

He was a well known wood carter for many years as well as shearing in the season[1]

Richard married Annie (Ann) Bertha Gleissert (1858 - 1927) on 17 Nov 1879 [1]. They had 15 children, five sons and ten daughters.

Richard died on Sunday, 24 Sep 1933 in Angaston, South Australia aged 79[1]. Richard buried in Angaston Cemetery, Angaston, Barossa Council, South Australia, Australia with a death date of 24 Sep 1933.[2].
