Biography

Sarah E. Franklin was born about 1874 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.^[1][2] She was the daughter of Logan Franklin and Hannah Roseline Franklin.

Her mother died in 1879, while trying to give birth. In the 1880 U.S. Census, Sarah E. Franklin was recorded as 6 years old, living in Saint Charles, Hopkins Kentucky with her father Logan and siblings, Cyntha J and James W. Franklin.^[1]

Sarah, age 20, was married 23 May 1894 in Hopkins County, to John C. Cunningham, age 21.^[2]
