Florence B. Cadarette NEW BEDFORD -- Florence Bertha (Fredette) Cadarette, 84, of Car Barn Apartments, died Friday, April 3, 1998, after a long illness. She was the wife of Edmund Cadarette and daughter of the late J. Alfred and Aldea (Sutherland) Fredette. She died at St. Luke's Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford and a communicant of Holy Name Church.

Mrs. Cadarette was a homemaker. She and her husband celebrated 50 years of marriage in December. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed sewing. Survivors include her widower; a daughter, Pauline F. Cadarette of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sons, George E. Cadarette of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Dennis R. Cadarette of Etobicoke, Ontario; a sister, Bernadette Gomes of New Bedford; four granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; a niece and two nephews.

She was the sister of the late Arthur Fredette and Antoinette Aguiar. Her funeral Mass will be Monday at 9 a.m. at Holy Name Church. Arrangements are by the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd
