Biography

Joseph "Joe" B. French was born 4 December 1859 in Caldwell County, Kentucky. He was the son of Milton French and Martha (Thomasson) French.^[1][2]

In the 1860 U.S. Census. Joseph French was recorded as 7 months old, living in Princeton, Caldwell, Kentucky with his parents.^[1] Twenty years later, he was recorded in the 1880 U.S. Census, as 20-years old, living and farming in Fishers Springs, Hopkins, Kentucky with his parents and siblings.^[3]

He died 8 July 1937 in Bucksnort, Caldwell, Kentucky and was buried at Jackson Cemetery.^[2]

Death record incorrectly shows birth date as 4 December 1854.^[2]
