Biography

Francis Fullam was born in Weston, Massachusetts in 1744. He was son of Francis Fulham and Susanna Hammond. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

He married Sarah Fisher on November 19, 1777.

Together they had these children:^[4]

5. Luther Fullam, b. 1789.
6. Betsy Fullam, b. 1791.

The History of Fitzwilliam ^[5] has the following:

Francis Fullam, born Oct 25, 1744 and died Feb 12, 1823. He came to Fitzwilliam in 1774 or before. He married Nov 19, 1777 Sarah Fisher, widow of David Perry. They lived for several years on land previously owned by Mr. Perry, and then settled in what is how known as the Fullam homestead.

While living in the south part of the town Mrs. Fullam was at one time riding up to the village on horseback when a bear and two cubs ran across the road near where No. 8 school house now stands. Mrs. Fullam had the first chaise in Fitzwilliam.

There are ten children listed.

He died in 1823 ^[6] and is buried in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. ^[7]
