Biography

Antoinette Gagnon was born and baptized on 26 Mar 1804 in Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul parish in Baie-Saint-Paul, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Abraham Gagnon and Ursule Tremblay. Sponsors at Antoinette's baptism were her maternal uncle Jacques Tremblay and Marie Symard, wife of Philemon Pilotte of this parish, neither sponsor signed the register.

At age 17 Antoinette married Aubin Paradis on 19 Nov 1821 in L'Acadie. There was one known child born into this marriage. Antoinette died at age 28 on 9 Apr 1832 in L'Acadie; she was buried two days later on 11 Apr 1832.
