Biography
Thomas was born about 1854. He was the son of Jean Gallant and Rosalie Babineau. His first marriage was to Obéline Robichaud, daughter of Andre Robichaud and Marie Olive Cormier in Barachois on 20 Feb 1881.[1] His second marriage was to Émilienne Léger, daughter of Pierre Leger and Madeleine (Brun) Leger in Haute-Aboujagane on 25 Jan 1897.[2] He passed away in Joggins on 29 Jun 1924.
1861 Census of Canada: When Thomas Gallang was born about 1853, his father, John, was 52 and his mother, Rosalie, was 28. In 1861, he was 8 years old and lived in Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada, with his father, mother, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.[3]
