Biography

Samuel Gardner was born in September 1835 in New York City, New York, his father, Hiram, was 31 and his mother, Pamelia Matteson (Mattison), was 26. He married Emogene Jump on February 16, 1871, in Bronson, Michigan. He then married Elcena Green on January 27, 1895, in Matteson, Michigan. He died on May 8, 1923, at the age of 87.
