Biography

Robert was born in 1890. He is the son of Oliver Garrett and Emily Klinedinst. In 1900, the family was living in West Manheim Township, York, Pennsylvania. ^[1] In 1910, they were in Hanover Ward 4, York, Pennsylvania.^[2]

In 1917, Robert registered for the WWI draft. He was single and working as a cigar maker at the time.^[3] He enlisted in the service on 25 May 1818 and was discharged on 6 Jun 1919.^[4]

In 1940, Robert was living with his sister, Esta, and her husband, William Kiick, in Hanover, Hanover Borough, York, Pennsylvania.^[5]

in 1942, Robert registered for the WWII draft. He listed his sister, Queen Garrett, as the person who would always know his address.^[6]

Robert passed away in 1972.^[7]
