Biography
Pierre Gélinas was born on November 24, 1841 in Maskinongé, Saint-Maurice, Canada East, son of Jean-Baptiste Gélinas (1798 - 1880) and Pelagie Chenay (~1807 - ~1869). He was baptized the same day at St-Léon-le-Grand, Maskinongé.[1]
He married Marie Agnes Caron on September 27, 1869 at Saint-Boniface-de-Shawinigan. [2]
