Biography
Philomene Gélinas was born on 24 March 24, 1837 in Maskinongé, Saint-Maurice, Lower Canada, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Gélinas (1798 - 1880) and Pelagie Chenay (~1807 - ~1869). She was baptized the same day at St-Léon-le-Grand.[1]
