He married Sarah Louisa (Miller) Giddings 1883 in Burra, South Australia, Australia [2] and their children were Jonathon Albert Giddings, Mary Ann Katherine Giddings and Olive Tryphena Beatrice Giddings.
David died on about 11 July 1942 IN South Australia, Australia [3]and was buried on Sunday, 11 July 1842 in the Yongala Cemetery, Yongala, South Australia, Australia [4][5].
