DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage (beta) of DNA with Elizabeth:
No evidence that Benjamin and Hannah (Savage) Gillam had a daughter named Elizabeth. Recorded children are Hannah, Ann, Faith, Dyonisia, Benjamin, Thomas and Mary, all born in Boston between 1662 and 1682 (Savage has a Martha baptized 7 Jan. 1672 at the same time as Hannah and Faith?). No Elizabeth is mentioned in Benjamin's will or probate record:
Boston ss. The seventeenth june 1686Then appeared Mrs Hannah Silvester late Gillam before The Honorable Joseph Dudley Esqr Presidt. of his majestys Territory and Dominion of New England and Craved the Probate of Capt: Benjamin Gillams Will to which she is nominated sole Executrix and it was allowed and Ordered to be Entred and further upon the offer of severall Evidences to prove a Legacy to the two Children of Mr. Samuel Philips who married Hannah the Daughter of sd Capt. Benja Gillam of fifty Pounds Mr. Matthew Middleton who married Faith the other Daughter of sd Gillam the third and Last named Mary Infant and Ward to the sd Hannah Silvester being Represented by her mother who are the Only Legatarys in the Will before mentioned did give their Express consent that the sd Legacy of fifty Pounds be Payd unto the sd Two Daughters of Samuel and Hannah Philips or the Survivr upon the Division set down in the Device of this Will now on file
Is there a birth record that show's Benjamin and Hannah as Elizabeth's parents? All their other children were born in Boston but Elizabeth shows Virginia as birth state.
Gilliam-16 and Gilliam-1378 appear to represent the same person because: I erroneously created the higher-numbered profile as the spouse of an erroneously created Alex Toney (who is now merged, with two Gilliam spouses that likewise need merging).
Gilliam-16 and Gilliam-1378 do not represent the same person because: According to the notes attached herein,
"Apparently there was more than one Elizabeth Gilliam. It is likely that they were related. One born in New Kent County VA, about 1667. |Gilliam-16|. Married to Alexander Toney. Another Elizabeth Gilliam |Gilliam-117|, born about 1654 in Surry County, VA . She married three times to: Francis MabWest.a Bevins and a West."
These two are too disparate until good sourcing is avaiable to deliniate.
Unknown-318656 and Gilliam-16 do not represent the same person because: Some websites seemed to have this Elizabeth confused with another Elizabeth Toney, but other mired detaiked sources have clarified this,
Gilliam-785 and Gilliam-16 do not represent the same person because: Found another birth date that is in line with spouses DOB. There is a other Elizabeth Gilliam in New Kent, born in 1667.
Gilliam-16 and Gilliam-23 appear to represent the same person because: Hello, These profile (and at least two others) seem to represent the same person. Thanks.

I'm fairly confident, though, that she was not daughter of Benjamin and Hannah (Savage), and should be disconnected.
[ETA: I'll be digging deeper into the Gillams of Boston soon. If I find anything that might clear any of this up, I shall post it.]
