In the 1850 census Joshua (age about 60) was living in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife Martha (age 55), and their son Edward (age 14). [5]
In the 1865 Rhode Island census, Joshua (age 75) and his wife Martha (age 70), are living in Providence with their son-in-law Charles E R Page (age 34), their daughter Fanny E Page (age 32), and their granddaughters Annie S Page (age 15) and Emily F Page (age 10). [6]
Joshua died at the age of about 79 on 10 July 1869 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. [7][8] Joshua was buried in the North Burial Ground in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. [9][10]
