Event: Bastrop Advertiser. Obit 18 FEB 1993. Note: Paula Hendrix, 83 of Rockne died Saturday, February 13, 1993. She was born in Rockne on December 18, 1909 to Michael and Ottilia Beck Goertz. She is survived by three sons, Fred J. Fiebrich of Bastrop, David C. Fiebrich and wife Elberta of Bastrop, and James H Fiebrich and wife Isabel of Austin; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Howard Fiebrich. Rosary was held Sunday, February 14 at 7 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Church in Rockne. Funeral Mass was held Monday, February 15 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements by Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home, Rockne.^[9]
