Clem Gonyea now occupies the home of his late father on Compau Road with his son Alvin and family. Clem discontinued farming several years ago to enter the occupation of trapping and renting boats.

EAST ROCKWOOD -
Clement L. Gonyea, 72, of 15115 Campau Rd., East Rockwood, died of pneumonia at 12:30 p.m. yesterday in Wayne County General Hospital.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Clark H. Ford and Son Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, both in Rockwood. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Rockwood.
The son of Cyril and Josephine Gonyea, he was born June 7, 1891 in East Rockwood. He married Clara Raymond in July 1914, in Wyandotte. She died Oct. 14, 1945.
Survivors are a son, Alvin of East Rockwood; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marcella) Ernest of Rockwood; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Montie of Ecorse, and 4 grandchildren.
I remember his visits to his sister Agnes, (my Mimi) and brother, Dave. Visits were brief but 2nd only to Frank in frequency (of siblings). He was 2nd to Frank also in portliness.
