Biography

Harry was born in 1902. He passed away in 1997.

Harry graduated from Indiana Central College where he lettered in Football, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball and Track. He returned to his alma mater to coach football and basketball. He also did a stint as golf coach. In 1943 he changed venues and began coaching basketball at Indiana University. From 1946 to 1954 he was at the University of Nebraska in the same role. In 1946-7 and 1947-8 the presence of all-conference players Claude Retherford and Bus Whitehead helped his team win the conference. Harry followed Adolph J Lewandowski. Jerry Bush followed him.
