Biography
Christopher Goodhand was a Maryland colonist.
Christopher was born about 1640. He was married to Hannah Ingram, the widow of John Ingram sometime before 1681 when he was identified as the husband of the daughter of Sarah Harris in her will. [1]
Marriage & Children
Christopher married Hannah Jenkins around 1680. They were the parents of at least two children who are mentioned in his will:
- Marmaduke Goodhand b. abt. 1682
- Elizabeth Goodhand b. abt. 1686
Death
Christopher Goodhand signed his will on 3 MAY 1704 in Kent County. An abstract follows:
- to my daughter Elizabeth and her heirs my 300 acres plantation called Poplar Neck provided she marries with the consent of her mother, otherwise the tract to go to my son Marmaduke.
No executor was listed.[2]
