From her obituary from the Thornbury Review Herald: Born on the farm now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Franke, the late Eva Gould taught music, often travelling by horse and buggy to Loree and Duncan. She also loved to paint and created some lovely pastels. Of a quiet retiring disposition, memory of deceased will be revered by all who knew her. After her mother's demise, Dec 30, 1936, she went to London, Ontario, to home of an aunt, Mrs. Grey, and was with her until her death. After this, Miss Gould went to Moose Jaw, Sask. to another aunt, Mrs. James Allcock, and was with her until her passing. She had made so many friends in Moose Jaw, she decided to make the city her home. In the summer of 1955, she became ill and in January of this year, she returned to the home of her brother, Herbert, Ravenna. After a prolonged illness, Miss Gould passed away quietly October 6th.
