Emily was born in June 1865 in Coryell County, Texas. She was the daughter of Isaac Graham and Sarah Ann Kinsey. She passed away on 1 February 1928 in Shackelford County, Texas[1] and is buried in Gatesville City Cemetery, Coryell County, Texas.[2]
Birth
Death Certificate has some errors. The information was provided by husband, W. T. Blackstock. It states Emily was born 6 Jun 1856; appears to be transposition and should be 1865. Father listed as I. J. Graham, mother ____ Graham. Birth date does not agree with gravestone which reads 19 June 1864. No census record found for 1870. 1880 Federal census effective 1 June gives Emily's age as 14. She would have been 15 in June, so birth year would be 1865. 1900 Federal census gives birth date as June 1865. Based on use of the earliest records given by parents or self, 1865 is assumed to be birth year.
Marriage
No marriage record found. First child, Ada, was born January 1882. 1900 Census states married 18 years. Emily was still unmarried and at home with parents on 1880 census. Married between 1 June 1880 and 1 March 1881, probably latter part of 1880.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Emily by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Emily:
Graham-1567 and Graham-234 appear to represent the same person because: duplicate child of Isaac & Sarah, duplicate wife of William. Incorrect death date & second spouse have been corrected.
Emily did not marry James T. Webb, husband of her sister Nancy. She was still married to William Blackstock when she died in 1928. James Webb needs to be removed as spouse.
