William Graham was born on 21 Aug 1830 in Buffington Township, Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States, son of William Graham (1805–1853) and Mary (McFeaters) Graham (1808–1871).
William was in company I, 67th Pennsylvania volunteers for about fifteen months, and was killed at the Battle of the Wilderness. He died on 25 May 1864 in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Virginia, United States. He is buried in the Washington House Churchyard, Fredricksburg, Virginia
