Spouse: William John JONES, male, age 23, storekeeper, bachelor, usual residence Evandale, born in Hobart, parents William Edward JONES, storekeeper, & Selina JONES. Married 21 May 1896, at the residence of Mr. W. E. JONES, Evandale, according to the Usages of the Wesleyan Methodist Church by Wesleyan Minister Henry BATH [or PARK or SARK, or TARK?]. Witnesses W. E. JONES, Evandale; & Eliza GREEN, Evandale. Registered: Launceston. [2]
William and Annie had seven children who all reached adulthood: Selina Eliza 'Leena' (1897-1989); William 'George' (1899-1969); Herbert John (1902-1969); Phyllis Annie (1904-1992); Edward Alfred (1908-1988); Allan Keith (1914-1959); and David Lyndon (1920-2009).[3]
William died in Dover, Tasmania in 1948; and Annie died at St Ann's Rest Home in Hobart in 1965.[4]
