Daniel Webster Greenfield was born 1854 in Stark County, Illinois, and married a Melissa Ellen...

April 1909 "Dennis Shea says the Pioneer want ad did the business. Mrs. and Mrs. Greenfield have accepted a position on his ranch."

September 1910 the Waverly items included "Lumber was purchased for a new schoolhouse in the Greenfield neighborhood."

In 1920 Lancaster County, Nebraska a D.W. Greenfield 67, is living with brother, R.J. 61, Illinois and R.J.'s wife M.B 59, Indiana, and their daughter Eva, 21 Nebraska

D. W. died in Yuma County in 1935, and is buried in Eckley. Everett L. 1884 - 1974 is also there.
