Biography

He was probably born in New Brunswick, Canada. and is most likely the son of

Charles Greenlaw. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Greenlaw-68

However more sourcing needs to be done to either prove or disprove this.

There are also probably more children, but more research needs to be done.

Research Notes

Birth location. The death certificate of his son Gilbert H Greenlaw (1819-1894) indicated that Solomon was born in Scotland. But this is highly unlikely as the family had left Scotland before the American Revolution.
