Alroy Lester Greet was born in 1899. He was the son of William Greet and Hermine Auguste Louise Kapernick.
On 21 Aug 1918, at the age of 18 and 10 months, Alroy joined the 9th Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force. He served overseas for a year and 60 days and was then discharged from the army on 27 Sep 1919. [1]
On 6 October 1921 he married Dorris May Suthers at Lanefield Baptist Church, Lanefield. His occupation was given as "coppersmith" on the certificate of marriage. [2]
Alroy died in 1964.
