Biography

Jane was born about 1797 in Kentucky. She died after the 1860 census. She married Edward Willett 25 January 1826 in Union County, Kentucky.

    • On 11-Nov-1837, Jemima McElroy conveyed 18 to 20 acres of land to Richard H. Austin by deed of general warranty. On 29-Aug-1838, Richard H. Austin transferred by assignment the title bond to Dr. Francis C. Brady. This transaction was not completed before Jemima died. In Jemima’s will, she named her sister. Jane R. Willett as the administrator. Jane completed the sale of this land in 1853. The land was described as being on the waters of Lost Creek, near the town of Morganfield and bounded by the lands of Peter Berry on the west, George Johnson on the north-west, Mrs. Lucy Blackwell (formerly Edward Willett) on the north-east and Henderson road on the south-east. The land was from a division between Elijah Wilson and Edward Willett
