Biography

Eva was born in 1896 in Chatham County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of James Hackney and Martha Sugg. She never married and spent her life working on the family farm.

She passed away in 1946 in Pittsboro and was buried in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Moncure, North Carolina..
