Frederick Arthur Hadley was born in 1909 at Tipton, Staffordshire, England. He was the son of Harry Hadley and Edith White.^[1]

In the 1911 census, Frederick Arthur Hadley was age 1 living at Tipton, Staffordshire with his father Harry Hadley (40), mother Edith Hadley (33), siblings Harry V Hadley (18), William Henry Hadley (11), Percy Roland Hadley (10), Leslie John Hadley (7), Constance Hadley (5).^[2]

Frederick Arthur Hadley and Ivy May Mason married in 1931 at Dudley Register Office, Dudley.^[3][4] They had at least one child.
