Hagler, daughter of Jefferson Hagler (1852-1936) and Sarah Elizabeth (Grammer) Hagler (1855-1938), was born on 23 Jun 1891 in Makanda, Jackson, Illinois.[1] She married Robert Asa Blankenship (1888-1940) on 26 Sep 1909 in Makanda, Jackson County, Illinois.[2] Ollie M. Hagler lived in Carbondale, Williamson County, Illinois in 1910.[3] She lived in East Marion, Williamson, Illinois in 1920.[4] Between 1930 and 1940 she lived in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois.[5] She was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Carbondale, Jackson County, Illinois. Ollie was a charter member of the Union Gospel Mission in Herrin, Illinois. Ollie enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She died on 11 Jul 1986 in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois.

"HERRIN - Services for Ollie Blankenship, 95, of 208 N. 19th St., will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Johnson-Hughs Funeral Home in Herrin, with burial in the Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Blankenship died at 11:10 p.m. Friday, July 11, 1986, in Herrin Hospital. She was a homemaker and had been one of two surviving charter members of the Union Gospel Mission in Herrin. Born June 23, 1891, in Jackson County, Mrs. Blankenship was the daughter of Jefferson and Sarah E. Grammer Hagler. She was married to Robert A. Blankenship in September 1908 in Carbondale. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1940. Survivors include one son, Richard Blankenship, Lincoln City, Ore.; three daughters, Pauline Wright and Marie Vick, both of Herrin, and Genevieve Childers, St. Louis; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Four sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death."
