Asa was born 20 January 1758 in Duck Creek Cross Roads, Sussex County, Delaware. He was the son of Thomas Hall and Rebecca Story.
He married Sophia White on 26 March 1778 in Sussex County.
Asa died on 9 June 1815 in Monongalia County, Virginia, in what became Fairmont in Marion County. He is buried there in the Jones Cemetery.[1]
