Biography

Catherine was born about 1800. She is the daughter of Francis Hamilton and Ann Cary.

Catherine married George Strong, Esq., on 26 November 1820 in Ireland. ^[1]

They settled in Sydney, New South Wales in 1834

DEATHS. - On Sunday the 20th instant, at her residence in O'Connell-street, after a long illness, Catherine, wife of Mr. G. Strong, tailor, aged 43 ; deeply and deservedly lamented by a large family and many friends and acquaintances.
