Biography

Alexander was born about 1812, probably in Saratoga County NY Town of Northumberland.

He married Margaret Nichols.[1]

He was a farmer when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 11 Oct. 1850 at Fulton, Schoharie County, New York.[2] He was a farmer when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 23 July 1860 at Richford, Tioga County, New York.[3] He and Margaret appeared on the census of 13 June 1865 at Richford, Tioga County, New York.[4] He was a laborer when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 8 Aug. 1870 at Richford, Tioga County, New York.[5] He appeared on the census of 16 Feb. 1892 in the home of his son George at Lisle, Broome County, New York.[6]

He passed away in 1899, buried in Lisle NY, same monument as his youngest son George and family.
