Biography

John was born about 1834 and passed away about 1914

He became a doctor practicing allopathy in 1864 and continued for 50 years.

I recently received my second great-granduncle Wade's briefcase from my grandfather. William Wade Brent was the half son of Marion Edward Cunningham and Vesta Ozella Hammonds. He had various objects and records placed inside after his death, including (what I presume to be as no one in his family was a doctor other than John) John's doctor's pin.

It isn't exactly in the best condition, with some slight rusting, but that's to be expected from at most a 156 year old object.

John Wilson Hammonds was born about January, 1839 in Kentucky, Estados Unidos.

In 1900, John was living in Buckhorn Township, Sevier, Arkansas.

John died on October 28, 1914 in Chapel Hill, Sevier, aged 74.
