Biography
Nancy Hanks Pratchard was a strong woman. She converted their town house in Chattanooga to a boading house after the War ended. She is supposed to have run a tight home. She pushed her daughter Elizabeth hard to marry a vetern of the war who was living there in the boarding house while working. They did get married and they had 10 children.
