Biography

Elvira was born in 1833. She was the daughter of Barney Harrington and Roxalana Perkins.

She was living with her parents in Perrysburg, Cattaraugus, New York in 1850.[1]

Elvira married James Wood on 30 Apr 1853 in Cattaraugus county, New York. [2] They had four children.

In 1860, 1870, and 1880, they were living in York, Dane, Wisconsin.[3][4][5]

In 1900, she was widowed and in her own household in York, Dane, Wisconsin.[6] She listed herself as the mother of four children with two living.

In 1910, she was living with son James Wood jr. in York, Dane, Wisconsin.[7]

She passed away in 1919 and was buried in York Center cemetery in York, Dane, Wisconsin.[8]
