The daughter of Robert Harriott Sr and Sarah (Annin) Harriott, Phebe was born in New York. Her parents were early settlers to the Michigan Territory, settling in to clear and farm in Lenawee County.[1] She married the husband of her late sister, Rachel (Harriott) Camburn, William Camburn, two years after Rachel's death, marrying in Tecumseh, Michigan on December 21, 1874.[2] They made their home and farmed at William's farm in Saline, Michigan, however, they soon divorced and Phebe resumed her maiden name. In 1880, she lived with two of her sisters and her niece in Macon Township.[3]
Phebe passed away at the age of 73 and is buried at Macon Cemetery in Macon, Michigan.[4]
