Biography

Alice was born in 1864 in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, the daughter of George Gardner Harter & Elizabeth Jessy Beard. Her mother's maiden name was Beard.^[1]

She was christened on 4th June that year.^[2]

In 1871 she was at home with her parents in Cranfield.^[3]

In 1881, she was visiting her sister in Warwick Square, London, at the time of the census.^[4]

She married Frederick Hill in Marylebone in 1887.^[5]

She died in 1937.^[6]
