Grover enlisted twice in the United States Army. He served in World War II (10 Aug 1940 to 25 Jun 1945) and in the Korean War (25 Aug 1950 to 24 Aug 1953). [2] In WWII he served in the Panama Canal Department with the Field Artillery.[3] During the Korean War he served in the Signal Corps and was wounded in November of 1952.[4]
Grover's Veteran's Affairs BIRL file shows his birth year as 1912, but his birth and death records show 1911.
