Annie was born about 1861 in Hull, Yorkshire, England. At the time of the 1861 census, she lived with her parents, William Headley and Henrietta Atkinson, and paternal grandparents, George and Hannah Headley, in Hull.[1] Annie lived with her mother and stepfather, Henry Morison, in 1871.[2]
In 1882 she married Francis Crombie in Hull,[3][4] where the couple lived in 1891.[5] Francis died in 1896 at the age of 40.[6]
Annie worked as an office cleaner in 1901, when she lived with her daughters in Hull.[7] At the end of that year she married William Robinson.[8] The family lived in Hull in 1911. William was a miller.[9]
