Biography
Jane "Jenny" was born in about 1783 and was christened on 7 May 1783 in Great Shelford, Cambridge, England. She was the daughter of John Heffer and Constance Deans.
The banns for the marriage of Jane Heffer and an unknown person were read on 28 February 1802 in All Saints, Little Shelford, Cambridgeshire, England. She married Thomas Jennings (the son of John Pearson Jennings and Mary Rider) on 11 March 1802 in Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire, England.
Thomas Jennings of the parish of Little Shelford and Jane Heffer of this parish married in this church by banns this eleventh day of March one thousand eight hundred and two by me Thomas Thomason officiating minister. Thomas Jennings, Jane Heffer X in the presence of John Rider, William Gillingham. Little Shelford Transcripts , 1802 Feb 28 JENNINGS Thos & Jane HEFFER. Little Shelford.
