When Michael Thomas Henderson, was born on January 2, 1906, in Faringdon, Berkshire, England, his father, Harold Greenwood Henderson, was 30 and his mother, Lady Violet C Dalzell, was 26. He married Oonagh Evelyn Brassey on January 14, 1929. They had three children during their marriage. He died on November 19, 1953, in Westminster, Middlesex, England, at the age of 47.

Michael was a Member of Parliament (House of Commons) for North Berkshire from 1910 to 1916.
